Want to join a terrific team of independent Crystal Inn Hotels and Suites? Want to be a decision maker and make a difference? This General Manager will have a great property - one of the nicest in this beautiful red rock and desert city.
Responsible for revenue generation and managing all sales aspects of the hotel property to increase revenue and market share. Oversees all daily operations of the Inn including hiring, training, coaching and counseling of all departments, managing costs, labor, budgets, and department supervisors to ensure best possible operation for delighting guests and making associates of the hotel motivated to help increase the bottom line.

Duties:

Manages and direct sales staff for best possible sales efforts. Conducts daily and weekly inspections of hotel rooms with maintenance and housekeeping to ensure hotel cleanliness for the guests. Hires, trains and retains excellent Associates. Supervises all department managers every day. Prepares schedules with Supervisors, coordinates shifts and manages labor. Checks audit packages, adjustments and other transactions. Researches Guest complaints, resolves any disputes with Guests. Handles HR matters with home office HR Manager. Holds monthly staff meetings and safety meetings to ensure training and safe practices at all times on the property.

Qualifications:

Must have hotel management experience with General Manager or AGM experience a plus. Must have strong leadership skills, be a decision maker and have excellent communication and professionalism. Must be enthusiastic and outgoing about making hotel guests happy and managing a property.
