Description:

Under direct supervision performs pharmaceutical compounding and all assigned duties associated with the IV program. A technician level 1 may advance to technician level II after one year with the successful completion and achievement of their Pharmacy Technician Certification and by meeting the requirements of the technician level II expectations.

Qualifications:

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a pharmacy technician-training program or six (6) months related experience preferred. Previous hospital IV admixture or home infusion pharmacy technician experience and current pharmacy technician certification (PTCB) strongly preferred.

Must meet the technician registration requirements for the state of NC. Must pass a Physical Abilities Test.
