Description:

Shift: 8 hour shifts. Mon - Friday 8 hours
possible OT
To supply creeling services on weaving equipment to produce high quality rugs within production requirements for efficiency, productivity and safety.
1. Orders and receives yarn using approved company methods (e.g. log and light system).
2. Achieves quality requirements and ensures loom continues to operate safely and efficiently. Maintains yarn and creels and block creeling as required to keep straight lots.
3. Maintains yarn tensions by applying weights to ensure consistency
4. Communicates with Weaver re problem areas in creel and assists resolving those.
5. Operates equipment and conducts self with a high level of regard for safety and health requirements.
6. Communicates frequently with Weavers, Fixer/Technicians and forklift operators, and willingly provides adequate shift to shift communication with Creelers and shift Supervisors.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Duties:

Essential Duties of Position:

(1) Read English at a minimum 8th Grade proficiency level
(2) Minimum of 1 year of experience with creeling or operating equipment for a weaving process.
(3) Proven ability to perform frequent troubleshooting
(4) Able to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

(1) Ability to read and write.
(2) Ability to stand up to 8 hours.
(3) Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
(4) Must have acceptable attendance and
performance record.
(5) Must be willing to work overtime.
