Duties: | 1. Provide Team Leadership.
2. Responsible for hiring process, orientation, training, and evaluation of assigned staff in accordance with Hope Haven Policies and Procedures.
3. Promote a positive work environment for all team members.
4. Responsible for Staff Schedule.
5. Assure House Operations Budget for Program is operated within established budget.
6. Provide active treatment, training, and support as directed by the IPP with 90% accuracy and make sure all persons supervised do the same.
7. Assure the team follows the direction of the QMRP in developing, assessing, and implementing programs and schedules to meet those needs.
8. Document clients progress on programs, behavior intervention logs, daily toileting, seizures, etc.
9. Comply with ICF/MR regulations as they are outlined in the program manual.
10. Follow expectations and rules of Parkview Industries.
11. Assist clients as needed at Parkview in completing work assignments.
| Qualifications: | 1. BA degree in Human Services field and/or two years experience in Human Services.
2. Good communication (verbal and written), organizational, and leadership skills.
3. Computer literate or ability to learn computer skills.
4. Ability to make decisions in all programming matters.
5. Take and pass required medication administration course (40 hour med aide required for ICF/MR and RCF services).
6. Ability to complete R.A. course and/or required orientation training and all other agency training requirements.
7. Possess a valid drivers license and ability to acquire an Iowa Type "D" license with endorsement 3 when required.
8. Up-to-date physical
9. Clearance from criminal and abuse background checks.
10. Negative drug screening.
