JOB SUMMARY: Conducts financial transactions between customers and the Bank by using a computer terminal to input, research and record monetary transactions.

Duties: |
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
Responsible for adhering to and complying with all Bank policies and procedures, all applicable federal and state laws and regulatory guidance governing financial institutions, including, but not limited to, Federal Deposit Insurance Improvement Act (FDICIA), FACT Act, Bank Secrecy Act and Regulation CC.
Receives and processes deposits, withdrawals and loan payments from customers; validates amounts and insures that customers have sufficient funds in their account(s) to cover withdrawals.
Responds to customer inquiries regarding: their accounts, Bank services, policies, practices; directs customers to appropriate Bank employees for further action as needed.
Posts opening transactions for new accounts; closes accounts at the request of the customer, CSR, CSM or Banking Center Manager.
Issues travelers cheques, cash exchange checks; issues, redeems savings bonds; issues money orders; posts mail transactions as received; issues VISA and MasterCard cash advances as approved.
Balances all daily work; reconciles errors in a timely manner.
Solicits business from new and existing customers; cross sells Bank accounts and services.
Places a hold on customer accounts as necessary.
Services and balances ATM; loads, unloads and changes currency cassettes.
Assists customers with safety deposit box requests.
Orders cash from vault teller as office needs dictate; maintains a record of all vault currency ordered, received and disbursed.
Travels between all office locations, as needed, to provide relief coverage.
Works on special projects as requested by the VP, Banking Center Services.

Qualifications: |
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS (Non-Exhaustive):
A High School degree or the equivalent
Previous work in a job involving extensive cash handling and customer contact is required.
Good 10 key and basic math skills are required.
A working knowledge of bookkeeping and/or accounting is required.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to quality customer service are required.
Must be very detail-oriented and possess a high level of personal integrity.
Dependability (excellent work and attendance history) is mandatory.
Must be fluent in the English language (to include reading, writing, speaking and comprehension.
