Description:

Assist Digital Staff in Achieving monthly and annual revenue goals by assisting the sales staff in appointment setting, presentation creation, Website evaluations, research, PPC campaign proposals, etc.

Duties:

Work as a team with Digital Sales Rep to achieve monthly and annual revenue goals through assisting them in the presentation and sale of multiple products and programs for new and existing clients. Possess a thorough understanding of product features and benefits, rates, and packages and how to explain them using Value Selling.

Demonstrate proficiency in matching products to customer needs and making recommendations that sell the value of all products. Give leads and sales opportunities to Digital Sales Rep when appropriate. Collaborate with Digital Sales Rep and manager to develop strategies on how to grow revenue from existing and new accounts, as well as how to better serve customers. Requires communication and some presentation skills with customers. Analyze sales performance to goals and develop strategy to reach goals.

Assist Digital Sales Manager in tracking and collection of but not limited to daily successes, daily sales , sales inititives, and training attendance.

Organize and submit ad copy, art and layout by deadline, complete accurate advertising orders, submit client contracts and complete sales reporting in a timely manner. Work with 1100 Broadway Project manager ensuring all necessary paperwork and forms are submitted completely and in a timely manner.

Attend sales meetings and training to obtain sales, product, competition or other essential job information.

Work in a professional and courteous business manner with customers along with co-workers. Present a positive and professional demeanor and appearance that reflects The Tennessean’s high standards. Contribute to a positive and constructive atmosphere and work to make the department and newspaper more effective.

Provide sales support including but not limited to presentation creation, research, website evaluations, list research,and PPC campaign proposals.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED.

- Two years advertising account management experience including daily experience communicating with, servicing, managing, and upselling accounts to meet client business needs.

- Digital sales experience preferred.

- Good organizational skills, written communication skills, problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, analytical skills, and time-management skills.

- Basic knowledge of MS Office, e-mail, Internet, and database applications.

- Valid Tennessee driver’s license & proof of automobile insurance.
