Description:

This position is primarily responsible for efficiently and effectively positioning 911-inc. through representation and trade show/user group events and coordinating website/collateral material and other marketing efforts through third-party Marketing/P.R. firm. These responsibilities will also necessarily be tied to an increased interaction between Sales and Marketing personnel, resulting in more accurate prospect/customer data, reporting, and usage of that data.

Duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


- Coordinate trade show scheduling, materials, set up, etc.
- Coordinate user group scheduling, materials, set up, etc.
- Provide contacts for and set up of search engine marketing software partners.
- Provide insight to all qualified leads via the data from SEM software.
- Serve as liaison between Sales and Marketing to enhance understanding of leads –related data.
- Serve as key liaison with outside Marketing/Public Relations partner(s).
- Prepare accurate and timely proposals when called upon.
- Professionally and proactively represent 911-inc. at trade shows and user groups when called upon.
- Understand and adhere to the guidelines and budget of the VP Sales/Marketing for each and all responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Required Experience

- Must have successful experience coordinating web-based marketing collateral, branding/copy writing content, trade shows and user groups.
- Must be effective taking direction from 3rd party P.R. firm.
- Must have superior creative skills to help VP create something special at events, etc.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to relate to customers and prospects.
- Must be willing to travel to trade shows regularly.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience

- Prefer previous success working for a closely related, small software company based in this region.
- Prefer previous employment within the Public Safety Administration environment or Stat/Local Government
- Prefer previous exposure to applications software and/or telecom solutions.
