| This position will be responsible for managing and generating sales from a group of 12-18 named accounts in the Northeastern United States/Eastern Canada. The successful candidate will be someone that has strong experience generating revenue from MSO, ILEC or CLEC accounts. We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of penetrating accounts and who has contacts at the executive and working levels of accounts in this region |
Duties: |
•Penetrate list of named accounts at executive and working levels
•Uncover, qualify and close new sales opportunities within these accounts, including Carrier Ethernet and backhaul applications
•Develop and maintain an account plan/strategy for each account
•Expand Overture’s executive level relationships within these accounts
•Provide the necessary product input to PLM to drive product enhancements for long term success with accounts.
•Maintain and provide detailed tracking of sales activities and opportunities within salesforce.com

Qualifications: |
•8+ years of strategic sales experience required
•Strong technical understanding of telecommunications networking and Carrier Ethernet
•Recent experience selling into MSO, ILEC or CLEC accounts
•Self starter, hard working, dependable and responsible
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills
•Prior start-up or young company experience preferred
•Willing to travel 50%+ of the time
•Four year BA/BS degree, or equivalent, preferred
