Description:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

This position provides major inside rental/sales equipment activities insuring customers’ satisfaction and performing some administrative operational responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
I. Customer Service - Percent Of Time Spent = 80%+

• Coordinates shipping & receiving of construction equipment from CRSI & Cat Finance.
• Manages equipment and attachment inventory.
• Daily monitors equipment sales schedule and immediately contacts customer with any schedule updates, modifications or delivery problems.
• Serves as a liaison between departments for sales equipment pricing, availability, transportation and repair. etc.
• Assists with telephone collection of information on sales prospects.
• Meets with customers to discuss, negotiate and close rental/sales fleet sales that are within established guidelines

II. Administrative - Percent Of Time Spent = < 20%

A. Equipment /Inventory
• Ensures sales units are operational by coordinating repairs with service technicians.
• Maintains current and accurate service records for each unit.
• Provides inter-company rental sales coordination.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:
Must have a four year degree, or a two year post secondary college graduate with a technical or a business administration degree with two additional direct years of similar work experience.

Physical:
Must be able to work for long periods while seated. Must have ability to clearly communicate with customers on the phone or in person.
Must have physical ability to operate equipment to assist with loading and unloading as needed.
Must have excellent customer relations primarily with verbal communications using the telephone or in person.

Other:
Must be PC knowledge with basic level skill with keyboard and Microsoft software, preferably Excel and Word.
A basic mechanical and product knowledge is desirable.
