Description:

F&B Administrative Assistant

SUMMARY

Provide administrative support to F&B department and/or Managers. Duties include general clerical, receptionist and project based work. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction with members & guests

Must be flexible with work schedule.

Duties:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member.
Meet and greet members, guests, vendors and staff.

Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.

Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.

Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system.

Sign for and distribute UPS/Fed Ex/Airborne packages.

Research, price, and purchase supplies for.

Setup and coordinate meetings and conferences.

Maintain and distribute staff weekly schedules.

Assist with coodinating menus and flyers for events.

Support staff in assigned project based work.
Other duties as assigned.

Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type 50 wpm. This is normally acquired through one to three years of clerical experience.

• Enthusiastic, friendly and positive energy.
• Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, while remaining flexible to the needs of F&B.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of Windows computer applications. i.e. MS Word, Excel and MS Publisher.
• Previous Country Club experience preferred, but not required.
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Catering experience preferred.
