Short Order/Grill Cook –Full-Time
3M- Hutchinson Commissary
Bernick’s is a full service provider of beverage, vending, and food service solutions. We have a current need for a Full-Time Cook at the 3M plant in Hutchinson. Position is responsible for preparing, cooking and serving food in compliance with all policies and procedures to assure that quality food is prepared and served efficiently.
The hours of this position are 5:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon Monday – Friday, however, earlier/later hours may be required on occasion.

Duties: |
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: preparing and cooking to-order foods requiring short preparation time, perform grilling duties in preparing food items to be served to customers, operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, grill items and use a fryer, serving food, assist with inventory, cleaning and sanitizing work stations and equipment, and assisting other Team Members in daily functions as needed.

Qualifications: |
Successful candidates will have a minimum of two years of cooking experience and possess a current Certified Food Manager Certificate (or have willingness to obtain within three months). Candidate will also have the ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally, to individuals of all levels, work independently and as a Team Member in a fast paced environment, ability to stand for majority of shift and intermittently lift up to 50 lbs.
