| The person in this position will be responsible for writing content for custom publication sections as well as content for brochures, websites, and social media. |
Duties: |
Write accurate copy for advertising sections, brochures, websites, and social media that meet the needs of both readers and advertisers.
Use both AP and Tennessean style in all content.
Research, interview and use original sources for all content.
Suggest photo ideas to the designer or arrange for the team photographer to go on a photo shoot to get the needed art to accompany each piece.
Bring content ideas to brainstorming meetings with manager and writing team. |
Qualifications: |
Requirements:
High School diploma.
3 years experience in feature writing.
Must be able to read and write professional copy in English as well as understand varied and changing instructions presented and written in English. Must be able to communicate with English-speaking co-workers, readers and sources.
