Description: | Evaluates the financial conditions of individuals and businesses and participates in the preparation and presentation of Credit approval documents. Manages the output of analysis and supervises the activities of other analysts and/or analyst trainees.
| Duties: | o Participate in and manage the flow of financial information and the preparation of credit analysis supporting the consideration of requests for commercial and large consumer credit facilities.
o Provide an assessment of credit requests independent of the loan origination function.
o Assist the Credit Risk Manager and the Senior Credit Officer in the performance of due diligence analysis related to the Bank’s existing loan portfolio and any other loan portfolios being considered for purchase. Prepare summaries of that analysis, including identifying the credit assessment and credit administration strengths and weaknesses of particular loan officers and others involved in the loan underwriting process.
o Assist the Credit Risk Manager and the Senior Credit Officer in tracking the administrative efficiency and performance of loan-related personnel.
o Supervise and train all analysts and analyst-trainees with respect to their specific responsibilities.
| Qualifications: | o Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or accounting.
o Ability to organize and assign priorities needed to meet firm deadlines.
o Excellent knowledge of personal and business financial statements and tax returns.
o Superior knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft Office® applications, especially the Excel application.
o Minimum of three years experience in general commercial credit analysis. Significant experience with and knowledge of commercial real estate credit analysis will enhance the applicable base salary.
