The role of the Membership Accounts Manager shares a dual responsibility of maintenance of the bad debt in the clubs, and development of a strong customer service culture for our members with respect to their delinquent accounts.

Duties: |
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Accountable for a specific amount of collection revenue each month – will be advised of quotas.
• Collect the outstanding bad debt that arises in the clubs allocated:
o Collection of membership
o Collection of Personal training
• Ensure members are placed back onto the pap process after collection is made.
• Retain members who default on payment past the initial term – negotiate if necessary.
• Innovate and refine the collection process as required or as necessary.
• Work with management to ensure that the collection process is adhered to, letters, lists etc.
• Work with the IT department and the managers to improve the computer system as it relates to collections.
• Accountable for dealing with customer service issues that arise from the collection process and are accountable for their resolution.
• Determine which accounts should be assigned to Collection Agency.
• Handle any issues or requests from the Collection Agency.
• Process membership changes that arise from the collection process e.g. change of banking, address etc. Membership cancellations should be forwarded to G.M.

Qualifications: |
• Fitness Industry Experience Preferred
• Collections experience an asset
• High School Diploma and some post secondary
