Description: |
| The Clinical Director of Care Management reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Kerr Health, LLC, and is primarily responsible for oversight and business development for the Care Management division of Kerr Health, LLC. |
Duties: |
evaluate new business opportunities
assign special projects and programs to clinical pharmacist team members
serve as a liaison for business partners
monitor training and development of clinical pharmacists
participate in the performance appraisal process
ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
serve as liaison between Care Management and other departments to ensure the organization's objectives are met
creating and implementing best practices, including maintaining a consistent level of quality of care offered to patients
serves on the Kerr Health Executive Leadership Team and as a liaison between the leadership team and the clinical pharmacists/residents
function as a resource person concerning all areas of responsibility in the Care Management division
monitor expenditures, revenue and participate in the budgetary process
supervise Regional Care Managers in the implementation of clinical programs
quality assurance plan implementation and administrative oversight

Qualifications: |
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Thorough knowledge of strategic planning process elements and requirements for effective results-oriented corporate planning
Ability to interact effectively with a variety of external and internal contacts
Thorough knowledge of planning, marketing, and financial analysis related to the delivery of clinical services
Ability to establish work priorities and work independently
Experience in supervising people and effectively managing a team
Effective oral and written communication
Ability to prepare and present narrative reports, graphs, and/or charts
Experience in the organizational quality assurance
Knowledge of academic and practice standards in pharmacy
Understanding of clinical clerkship programs and community pharmacy residencies
Education
Doctor of Pharmacy with Masters level training in Health Administration, Health Planning, Public Health, or Business Administration
Experience
Minimum seven years of experience in health care planning and operations or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
North Carolina Pharmacy Licensure required
