Description:

Dutko Worldwide is looking for an Federal Policy Executive Assistant to assist a senior executive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

Provide clerical and administrative support to the executive including, but not limited to, scheduling meetings, preparing expense reports, and writing memos/correspondence

Conduct research on behalf of the executive, as well as clients

Manage team databases, maintain website and subscriptions

Basic manipulation and analysis of data sets; assist in producing PowerPoint presentations

Tailor proposals to include the company solutions and fees identified to meet client’s objectives and requirements

Search publications daily; determine relevance of current events and issues and forward pertinent observations to clients and Dutko staff

Prepare memos informing clients of recent events, articles or reports relating to client’s business or objectives

Coordinate transportation, hotel and logistical assistance for the executive

Plan events and coordinate logistical details, including but not limited to negotiating venue and catering contracts

Provide clients with talking points for use during meetings or speaking engagements

Create memos and correspondence to be used by clients and the Company

Conduct correspondence on behalf of the executive and clients

Other related duties and tasks may be assigned as required

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher required

Undergraduate major in political science, communications, government or public policy strongly preferred

Demonstrated commitment to public policy required

Two or more years office experience strongly preferred

Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, required

Demonstrated ability to perform in-depth Internet-based research required

Advanced writing and oral communication skills, preferably used in working effectively with political officials and/or clients required

Demonstrated detailed understanding of legislative, executive branch, and regulatory processes required

Campaign staff experience preferred

Ability work in a fast-paced, challenging environment for extended hours (i.e. overtime), and prioritize tasks based on importance and deadlines is critical
