Description:

Under minimal supervision, this position supervises and may perform various student services and/or operational activities for a campus, learning center, or division.

Duties:

1. Participates and/or may initiate hiring, promotions, transfers or disciplinary actions.
2.
May supervise and/or participate in other campus or learning center activities as needed, which
may include performing academic advisement and management for all new and continuing
students, as well as, managing the logistics of end-of-course surveys, class rosters, and
dissemination of other pertinent academic information.
3.
Supervises and performs campus, learning center or division student services/operations activities
which may include ensuring staff coverage of the facility during student and business hours, and
providing general calendar maintenance support to students.
4.
Supervises the student tracking system to ensure proper and accurate recording, tracking and
maintenance of all student academic information (including grades, attendance and admission
information). This includes identifying system problems and presenting these research findings to
information technology personnel for resolution.
5.
Supervises facilities, equipment and security needs for the campus, learning center or division.
This includes forecasting classroom needs and coordinating classroom scheduling, setup and
visits, as well as monitoring class size for all campus or learning center activities. This may also
include developing, implementing and maintaining a day-classroom reservation system.
6.
May generate revenue for the division, campus or learning center by administering the classroom
rental activities for the division, campus or learning center. This includes marketing, promoting,
and renting classrooms during off-peak hours with the goal of meeting established budgetary
revenue figures.
7.
May participate in the development and distribution of marketing material, as well as contact and
meet with prospective and existing clients to promote classroom rentals. This includes negotiating
rental agreements and contacts, as well as preparing and maintaining appropriate documentation,
such as rental/lease agreements.
8.
May participate in organizing and coordinating campus, learning center, and/or division graduation
and ceremonial functions or other campus-related events in accordance with established regional
and corporate standards.
9.
May resolve student service or operational issues, escalating sensitive and complex issues to the
appropriate manager.
10.
May participate in the development and implementation of the yearly campus or learning center
budget by tracking and monitoring purchases and expenditures to ensure the campus, learning
center or division is within established budgetary parameters.
11. Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.

Qualifications:

A thorough knowledge of business and/or education as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in business, education, or related field.

Must have proven experience in a progressively responsible capacity in an education, service, operations, or business environment organizing, administering, and/or leading a variety of functional areas within a department or division.

Must have proven experience participating and/or assisting in the development, implementation, and/or enforcement of department and/or divisional budgets, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, as described above.

Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with students, faculty, as well as, campus and/or learning center personnel.

Proven sales or marketing experience entailing one-on-one interaction is highly preferred.

Must possess the ability to convey a professional image, as well as effectively represent the organization as appropriate in its relationship with external customers.

Must have a working knowledge of personal software packages to perform word processing and spreadsheet activities. Must also have a working knowledge of record management software to supervise the recording, tracking, and maintenance of student academic information, as described above.

Must be results oriented and able to independently supervise multiple processes, and activities simultaneously.
