as a member of the applecare service program you will be a part of a team that cares and values its customers by offering high-quality service and support. simply mac will provide the tools, training and the expertise needed to be successful in this position. the success of the individual in this role will be determined by the candidate's ability to expand the service team while providing a high level of customer service and satisfaction, and operational excellence.

position summary: a technician is required to diligently execute the applecare service program and is a member of the service team. the position emphasizes skill-sets in the areas of customer support & relations, software and hardware troubleshooting and resolution, problem diagnosis, and hardware repair and replacement, within a service center environment. the technician’s primary role will be to provide excellent service and support to our many customers. the technician is the company’s follow-up contact with the customer, and as such must be proactive in informing customers of the progress of their computer repair while demonstrating excellent customer service skills and communication.

Duties:

team building:
•effectively fulfill simply mac’s shared vision and objectives.
•be a positive example to team members by offering world-class experience and customer service when troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing products.

operations:
•ensure that the day to day operations including upholding store appearance, merchandise and staffing standards are met.
•assure uniformity and enforcement of the policies and procedures

sales goals:
•guarantee that all customers are assisted in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.

Qualifications:

essential skills and experience:
•apple & mac experience preferred.
•minimum of 1 year retail sales experience.
•high school diploma
•ability to become certified with minimal training on apple sales training online as a product professional.
•proficient in microsoft applications.
