Description: | Southern Energy Management is currently seeking a full-time administrative support professional to support our fast-growing team through our Morrisville office. The right candidate will have a natural inclination toward service with a knack for quickly understanding the multiple roles our team members fill. We’re looking for a self-starter who enjoys being organized, busy and is equally comfortable with multi-tasking and handling shifting responsibilities/priorities. This is a dually focused role with equal importance placed on the external representation and internal support. Key responsibilities:
• Serve as the initial client contact and “voice/hub” for the Morrisville office.
• Answer phones and route calls with accuracy and professionalism.
• Provide general office support, including clerical/office management tasks and assisting with departmental projects.
• Assist with basic IT functions, including working with external partners.
• Order and maintain office supplies and snack program.
• Maintain overall tidiness of facility in cooperation with other team members.
• Manage daily mail pick-up, sorting and delivery.
• Complete various tasks as they arise to help keep our fast-paced organization running smoothly.
• Accomplish tasks independently while also working within a supportive team atmosphere
Desired Skills/Experience:
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly professional and friendly phone presence.
• Strong initiative and ownership of role.
• Previous experience in the construction industry.
• Previous experience with human resource administration or other experience with confidential information.
• Proficiency with MS Office , Adobe Acrobat, and Gmail.
• Detail-oriented and organized with an exceptional ability to prioritize and follow through and follow up on minor details supporting team members in the fulfillment of immediate and long-term tasks/projects.
• Ability to assess ways to support the team, initiative to propose and implement or improve process.
• Ability to see “what needs to be done” and willingness to get it done.
• Motivated, positive, energetic and enthusiastic.
