Description: |
Responsible for concentrating on sales and opening all retail and commercial deposit accounts and supplementary services; the proactive cross-referrals of Bank’s Line of Business products and services to existing and prospective customers; maintains superior customer service standards in all customer contacts and interdepartmental contacts.
This position is located at the Blandon Financial Center. |
Duties: |
| Supports corporate sales initiatives by providing sales/cross-sales by soliciting sales from new and existing clients in financial center; Completes documentation on all types of new accounts, e.g. loans, deposits ensuring accurate information in a timely manner; Resolves customer inquiries, questions and complaints accurately and in a timely manner in person and on the phone; Works creatively with the financial center management and the financial center staff to establish new sales and product marketing opportunities within their financial center market area; Processes consumer loan applications in a timely and accurate manner, may close consumer loans; Establishes and maintains required files, records, and reports to ensure compliance to policy and regulations for the financial center; Supports teller line as needed for good customer service and efficient operations, including running a teller window; Helps with the internal audit functions of the financial center including ATM, vault, safe deposit, Teller cash, negotiable instruments, etc;. |
Qualifications: |
A high school diploma or GED equivalent required. Additional education such as an associates degree or specialized banking education and training preferred. Strong reading and reading comprehension, writing and grammar skills; moderate mathematics skills; excellent communication and personal relations skills; moderate problem solving skills; product knowledge; ability to take and act upon direction and work with others creating and sustaining a team environment; ability to operate various office machines.
Ability to lift and move 25 to 40 lbs.; the job is highly interactive which requires visual and auditory skills. A minimum of (1) year customer service required and /or (1) year retail banking experience preferred. Teller experience preferred.
