Description:

1. Participate in loan related roadmap projects: Consult on complex business issues and design considerations of the loan origination systems, consumer direct online application module, financial analysis software applications, and other loan related application systems. Perform or direct research on industry trends, business products and competitors. Analyze trends and make tactical recommendations. Works closely with IT personnel and business partners to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve product, service and/or program business processes. Act as liaison between Business Unit Managers, other department managers, and IT staff. Serve as technical liaison between MidCountry Bank and third party vendors in defining, designing, and implementing automated systems.

2. Maintain multiple loan systems and loan related projects: High degree of understanding of the Mortgage, Commercial, Agriculture, and Consumer loan business areas supported within the company. Understand how system application changes affect the business areas. Understand tools used to create, track, and support changes and introduce new technology or improvements to existing technology. Develop user requirements, system pre-documentation, and data modeling; determine whether coding and integration results meet business requirements and needs; work with IT and 3rd party vendors to ensure end results meet business needs. Perform troubleshooting and analysis to assess root cause of application and data issues. Provide technical assistance to IT staff in the detection and resolution of system problems. Communicate and report issues, status, and results to management.

3. Enhance the existing loan applications, including updates and releases received from vendors: Coordinate upgrades and roll outs of new products including testing, user acceptance, training and monitoring performance following company change management procedures. Review enhancements and projects after implementation to ensure compliance to specifications and objectives. Develop business client testing strategies, assist with planning of cases and conditions; tests and monitors testing efforts; reviews and approves new system behavior to ensure alignment with business requirement and objectives.

4. Maintain system knowledge and MCB departmental processes through continued education (online and onsite training): Have a clear understanding of the processes the systems are supporting, the systems capabilities, and how the processes tie together. Understand and follow the MidCountry Bank Project Management and Change Management processes, assisting with scope document review, work orders, and project plans on a regular basis. Comply with MidCountry Bank policies and procedures, as well as IT departmental and bank-wide service standards



Minimum Qualifications

-Loan experience

-Harland LaserPro or Fiserv easyLENDER experience

-Fiserv ITI/Premier experience

-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
-5-8 years previous Business Analyst experience

-Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio).

-Good interpersonal, leadership, organizational, project management, analytical and human relations skills.

-Ability to prioritize work with minimal assistance of manager.

-Flexibility to adapt to change and willing to learn and develop new skill sets as applicable.

-Ability to write situation analyses, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

-Ability to work in “virtual” environment with team members in different geographical areas and time zones (conference calls, videoconferencing and/or online web conferencing).

-May require up to 25% travel time
