Description:

Counts and verifies the table games drop box contents and the bill validator drop box contents. Opens and counts the contents of the drop boxes, batches and totals paperwork contained in the table games drop boxes, and prepares the Manual Master Gaming report and the Manual Bill Validator report.

Scans and verifies electronically the EZ-Pay Tickets/kiosk Cash out tickets. Opens and scans the contents of seal ticket bags, batches and successfully closes the ticket scan report at the end of the shift. Prepares and fans through ticket batches and prepares them for the next days/shift.

Duties:

•Applies positive communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with guests, (internal and external) at all times.
•Participates in the daily counting of the casino table drop and bill validator drop.
•Batches and totals all paperwork contained in the table games drop boxes.
•Prepares the Manual Master Gaming Report and the Manual Bill Validator Report.
•Downloads the soft count drop to the vault.
•Protects company assets while collecting, sorting and counting all soft currency.
•Performs all duties in accordance with approved policies and procedures, Gaming Commission regulations, and Internal Controls.
•Assists with the stocking of count room supplies
•Meets the attendance guidelines of the company.
•Maintains excellent grooming and personal conduct according to Soboba Casino Standards.
•Must be self directed, team player, self-motivated and demonstrate initiative on a daily basis.
•Participates in the daily ticket scan of the casino cash out tickets
•Batches and totals all ticket scan reports contained in the New Wave system.
•Prepares and verifies the Electronic Scan Report.
•Uploads the ticket scans to the hard drive.
•Protects company assets while collecting, sorting and counting all cash out tickets.
•Shred scanned tickets.
•Assists with the stocking of ticket scan room supplies.

Requires normal or corrected vision to view and guide transactions.
Requires the ability to lift, carry, and bend over to lift up to 50 pounds, occasionally, and frequently when filling in for absent employees.
Requires ability to use hand and feet in a coordinated effort to walk and visually inspect cage and property grounds frequently.
Requires ability to work in a smoke-filled environment throughout the entire shift.

Qualifications:

Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Cash handling experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. There is continuous exposure to heavy second hand smoke.
