The Assistant Branch Manager's role is to run the branch in all areas as a second-in-command to the Branch Manager. Responsibilities include daily operational oversight, security and compliance, growing branch deposits by embracing a "needs based" sales culture, providing outstanding customer service, and a positive "can-do" attitude. In addition, this individual will share in the responsibility of training, coaching and mentoring branch staff to embrace the same responsibilities. Branch hours are Monday through Friday 7 -7, Saturday 9-1 and Sunday 10-2 | Duties: | Job Responsibilities Open and close the branchParticipate in the branch sales program and contribute to branch goal attainment Build and maintain staffing schedule Process loan applications and facilitate equity and personal loan closings Perform line, platform, and supervisory functions as needed Assist in ongoing training of staff (sales, procedural, customer service and compliance) Maintain The Provident Bank's policies and procedures Complete required on-going training, including, but not limited to compliance areas

Knowledge/Skills/Requirements: Solid Retail Banking experience Supervisory/Management experience Sales experience Computer skills - Competency in TellerInsight and BankerInsight, and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Knowledge of basic office/branch equipment Cash Handling Customer Service Strong communication skills - verbal and written Ability to multi-task Minimum age requirement of 18 years old
Physical Demands/Condition Requirements: May include standing during duration of shift Visually be able to make positive identification of an individual Independently transport money and coin of approximately 20lbs Independently assist customers with monetary transactions Ability to assist customers and staff in an emergency situation Education Requirements - High School Diploma, some College preferred.
