This candidate will provide support and expertise relative to product cost management for assigned current and new products; serves on the product development core team, provides technical cost estimates for components and tooling to strategic sourcing, prepares and presents PCM cost analyses and cost roll-ups for milestone reviews, prepares and presents current product key model cost evolution analysis and causals each month during platform meetings, all to achieve AOP, CRT and new program objectives. The Sr. PCM/Specialist is responsible for the overall tracking and reporting of product costs and making recommendations to the team in order to meet program targets.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for supporting current and new product PCM activities for the assigned product(s)
* Rapidly learns and utilizes appropriate PCM software tools
* Participates in periodic benchmarking or supplier visits to improve understanding of processes, equipment, tooling, etc
* Coordinates global activities with colleagues for assigned products and projects with competency centers and Long Platform Core Team member.

Requirements
* Education: 4 year College/University engineering/technical degree - Advanced business degree (master's) desirable
* Experience: Requires a minimum of 3 years of Product Cost Management experience and a minimum of 2 years of design/manufacturing engineering experience working with a Construction Equipment OEM. 3 years of cumulative experience with CHEX products (design, manufacturing, sourcing, costing) knowing their systems is required.
* Experience in time studies, cost estimation, tooling estimation, cost analysis, supporting or leading cost improvement projects, make/buy analysis.
* Demonstrated experience with internal manufacturing and cost tracking software and the ability to learn and implement new cost tracking systems/databases with minimal supervision
* Familiarity with Lean, TQM and MOST in order to understand and support optimized manufacturing processes
* Professional certification (APICS - CIRM & CPIM; SMI - CPM, ASQ - CQMgr, SME - CMfgE) is preferred
* Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
* Excellent computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, MS Project; advanced skills and extensive experience using Excel are required (formulas, tables, graphs and V-Look-ups)
* Ability to rapidly learn CNH specific cost management software tools (CMS, Friedman, WPS, E-Viewer, Part View, Product View, MatrixOne, Linear Pricing Models, Costimator, SAP modules)
* Ability to work independently, rapidly and accurately to provide cost analyses to meet defined timelines
* ProE experience is a plus
* Ability to work with personnel at various levels within our company, including plants/platforms/senior management, to deliver recommendations and clearly and concisely communicate cost management/reduction strategies in a public setting
* Ability to conduct meetings with and make presentations to plant, platform, competency centers and functional leadership
* Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, including internationally
