PCI is growing! We are seeking Calibration Technicians for Analytical Laboratory Instruments in support of our Indiana clients. This position is full time with benefits, non-exempt, and up to 30% overnight travel is required.

Duties: |
Expectations:
The Staff Technician is charged with providing PCI clients with calibrations and other instrumentation related services.
The Staff Technician is expected to display working knowledge of company policies and procedures. Staff Technicians are expected to ensure that new hires for their respective division are properly welcomed and introduced to other company personnel and client representatives.
Responsibilities/ Assignments:
Complete calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with accurate GxP documentation
Process calibration/qualification documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensure special client requests are conveyed to the appropriate PCI management resource and met in accordance with management direction.
Identify needs for additional supplies, equipment, etc. and convey to the appropriate management resource.
Must work to understand customers needs and requirements.

Qualifications: |
Special Skills Required:
Understanding basic concepts of calibration and calibration requirements including accuracy testing requirements
Basic understanding electronics, instrumentation and controls
Basic understanding of chemistry, microbiology, separation methods, chromatography, spectroscopy and commonly used laboratory equipment
Operation of complex laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, Mass Spec, Dissolution, etc.
Operation of pipettes and basic laboratory equipment knowledge such as balances, centrifuges, timer, micrometers, etc.
Working knowledge of USP and EOP standards.
Understanding of safety requirements
General electrical panel knowledge and safety practices.
Working knowledge of MS Office products.
Experience with chromatography data gathering systems software (i.e. Millenium, TurboChrom, etc.)
Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record.
Must be reliable, confident, eager to learn, and enjoy working with people.
Must be self-driven and demonstrate ability to work with little direction.
Experience & Education Required:
A four-year degree or higher in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or other related technical field such as Electronics or Engineering (or equivalent military training) and two years of instrumentation experience or the equivalent combination of the two.
