Business Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY

Main objective is to drive revenue, track and address costs, and take responsibility for P&L for local business operations, primarily through creating growth and then secondarily through efficient business operations.    

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Successful integration into the CNXN operational structure and departments for local Laguna personnel
• Oversees the overall business operation, activities and the relationship with community management for strategic or 1 off properties.
• Assuring contract compliance, healthy property status and profitability.
• Responsible for all needed coordination of all local Connexion personnel and facilities, even ones which are not direct reports.
                 
• Assures contract compliance in terms of:
  • service levels
  • upgrade and new service commitment and rollout, including timeline.
  • preparation and submission of any and all required reports or payments.
  • responses to community management requests
• Constantly reviews programming lineup and services offered, as well as marketing plans and activities for optimum efficiency, sales success, community acceptance, and profitability.
• Makes recommendations and participates in the development and implementation of marketing, customer relations, and subscriber acquisition programs and activities.
• Reviews existing and potential programming and services costs and makes decisions and recommendations on their pricing and use or addition to the community.
• Directs the daily activities of the Acct Mgrs, insuring the acceptance and value growth of the CNXN brand as well as that of the chosen service providers.
• Is involved in the activities, scheduling, and response to customer and community needs of the technical and all customer interfacing personnel.
• Looks for and develops new business opportunities and growth utilizing utilizing the expansion of the assets serving the community.
• Provides direction to Consumer Marketing and coordinates all revenue generating activities for the local business.
