Description:

AMS Pictures is seeking an Operations Manager to direct all day-to-day studio processes and activity in their Austin studio.

This position sets long-term and short-term goals, holds the team accountable for execution and provides regular communication to division staff and leadership on progress. In addition, the Operations Manager defines and conducts efficient workflow, identifies and assigns appropriate teams and leads all other facility and operational duties as outlined below. Ultimately, responsible for effectively and efficiently executing all opportunities.

AMS Pictures is a Texas-based creative media company with studios in Dallas and Austin. An award-winning creative shop, with nearly thirty years’ experience designing turn-key communications solutions for some of the country’s best known agencies and brands. Master storytellers who use digital media tools to create unique experiences that engage, enlighten and entertain audiences.

Company will not provide for relocation.

Duties:

operational management.

  • Establishes and conducts efficient workflow and tools among team
  • Develops and ensures adherence to AMS operational protocols by team members
  • Manages entire proposal and product development process
  • Makes project assignments based on capability requirements and availability
  • Ensures accurate scheduling and resolves all conflicts
  • Scales operational capacity and capabilities to meet growth needs
  • Manages facility, IT and equipment; engaging technical team members for input

financial management.

  • Ensures projects meet budget and goal expectations
  • Tracks and submits all studio billings

team management.

  • Supports recruiting, interviewing and development process for employees
  • Responsible for maintaining high employee productivity
  • Manages internship program through recruitment, training, assignment and day-to-day supervision

branch management.

  • Leads internal and external problem-solving efforts
  • Assists with communicating and executing division goals
  • Contributes to and supports business development and marketing
  • Supervises and/or executes client service duties

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree and at least 3-5 years experience with two years in management
  • Evidence of strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in management role
  • Proven process development abilities
  • Operation-oriented thinker
  • Proven problem-solving abilities
  • Industry/Market experience a plus
