**Position in Ft. Collins, CO** *Provide intermediate level technical contract specialist support for the US Department of Interior (DOI). * Prepare delivery and/or task orders and modifications from DOE Government Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC) and Federal Supply Schedules or open market purchase orders and/or contracts for a variety of supplies and services. * Maintain contract/task order files by including required documentation. * Perform routine purchasing of supplies and service with authority. * Prepare purchase requests for modifications of existing task orders for submission to the contracting office. Ensure funds contributed by different work groups are assigned to the proper accounts and charged accordingly. * Prepare requisitions for purchases under $2,500 and track purchases through delivery to payment. * Use clear and professional communication and provide a high quality of customer service when drafting documents and interacting with Government personnel and the public. |

Qualifications: |
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent (2 years experience equals 1 year education) relevant experience. * 5 or more years of experience in an Federal procurement environment. * Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes email. * Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other Department of Interior Policies. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Must be detail oriented and very organized. * Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers, managers, and team members. * Strong work ethic and ability to adhere to strict confidentiality.
