Description:

• Provides direct supervision to telemarketers and other platform sales staff and indirect supervision to all platform employees.
• Oversees compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Creates with the assistance of appropriate support areas all procedures and policies within the production area of the platform.
• Implements action concerning findings in audit reports, examination reports and internal reports.
• Jointly responsible for creating and implementing MidCountry Mortgage business plan and execution of objectives and policies. Proposes and recommends to Bank President short and long term plans that will meet MidCountry’s objectives for growth and profitability.
• Recruit and train sales personnel on ongoing basis
• Provide leadership, direction, control and administrative management of all matters concerning platform origination functions at MidCountry Mortgage in accordance with policies established by Board of Directors, Bank President, or Mortgage President
• Serves on specific committees of MidCountry Bank (as assigned by Mortgage President)
• Acts as primary spokesperson for Mortgages divisions platform at executive level and between business affiliates.
• Cultivates major clients and vendors regarding utilization of lending products
• Reviews, recommends and champions all project plans associated with production within the platform lending channel
• Reviews, recommends, and works to implement all necessary hardware and software needed for success in the platform lending channel.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 5-8 years previous experience
• Experience in all facets of mortgage origination.
• Experience in managing multiple departments, both centralized and de-centralized.
• Knowledge of financial planning and strategy.
• Strong internal and external communication skills.
• Experience and knowledge in motivating sales staff.
• Must have marketing and telemarketing background.
