We are seeking an experienced health care professional at the Vice President level to provide executive level consultation to our clients. The Vice President of Sg2 Consulting Services will lead multiple consulting engagements working with project delivery staff on project execution including conception, issue identification, hypothesis formation, as well as the research, analysis, and writing of custom business strategies and client deliverables. The Vice President will partner with the Sales team in all business development activities from lead generation to final close and collaborate with our program leaders to ensure Consulting solutions create superior value for Sg2 clients.

Duties:

• Work alongside Sales organization and participate in sales pursuits resulting in $1-$3 million of consulting activity
• Line management responsibility of staff including the recruitment/retention of team members
• Provide senior leadership to both consulting team members and client personnel to identify, quantify, implement and measure specific growth and performance initiatives
• Demonstrated project profit and loss responsibility and the ability to meet and exceed defined goals
• Complete and deliver work product(s) in agreed-upon timeframe within the contracted consulting project budget
• Communicate effectively across all levels of client management, including C-suite client leadership
• Lead team efforts in developing innovative solutions to difficult or complex client situations
• Provide leadership on consulting engagements and engage in billable consulting activity
• Manage client expectations, needs and priorities; continuously manage and monitor client satisfaction, and recommend appropriate strategies and tactics to enhance client satisfaction.
• Meet regularly in face-to-face meetings with clients.
• Adherence to corporate project/management administrative requirements including time-entry, resource planning, expense submission, client billing and others as requested.
• Serve as a company thought leader within a core area of specialty; contribute knowledge and expertise to the development of supporting corporate intelligence including publications, conferences, education/courses, white papers etc.

Qualifications:

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a consistent record of professional and personal achievement. Creativity, initiative, resourcefulness and an entrepreneurial spirit are a must. Ideal candidates would possess the following qualifications:

• Master’s in Business Administration - Health Care Management, Strategy and Marketing concentrations preferred.
• Undergraduate or advanced degrees in clinical medicine (MD, RN), biological/ biomedical sciences, economics or policy are strongly preferred
• Minimum of 10 years relevant health care strategy or operations consulting experience.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor team members, lead and influence cross-functional working groups, manage project teams, and achieve results. Dedication to teamwork.
• Proven analytical and strategic thinking skills, including problem solving, quantitative reasoning, workflow process
• Prior sales and business development experience associated with consulting services
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of professionals and personalities in a team environment
• An uncompromising commitment to quality and a passion for health care.
